At first, I was confused about the story of the play SUHI because the
truth is, I can’t really understand the deep Filipino words that they had used, I
have only understood a few of the words based on the actors and actresses action
and my knowledge about it. The words that the actors and actresses used on
their play has many what you called “symbolic expression/speech” (that’s what I
mean about the “DEEP” Tagalog words by the way) that what makes the play more
unique and catches everyone’s attention. Speaking of attention, the way the
actors and actresses acted their roles in the play was outstanding. If I have
the chance to rank their talent of acting, I will have ranked them PERFECT!!! I
felt goose bumps running over my body as I saw them acting on stage and felt
proud of them. Well, that day was my first time watching a drama play so close.
The props were magnificent even the clothing that the actors and actresses were
wearing and I was like a person transported on their time, I felt like I was a
village woman listening to them when it was time of judging the hilot.
As I was listening and observing the play carefully, I begun to
understand the idea what the characters have conveyed to the audience and I think
the story begun where the conflict in the play arrived. The plot of the story
was also magnificent, well-managed and well-acted. It had highlighted the
culture, tradition and has a mix of reality that we experienced now and also
our ancestors in the past.
In short, “KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK IPAG!!!”
nice lay-out cheil. Keep it up
TumugonBurahinYeah Cheilvey. honestly I really don't understand some deep tagalog words also, but I understand it in the story "oedipus rex" , the flow only not totally all the words in the story. Because I don't think I am a good language learner. hehehe
